Reservation & Booking Policy

Welcome to Harmony Acres Campground, an ecology-based property where you can see the trees in the forest. We have hiking, biking and walking trails including access to beaches in the National Park and the Bruce Trail. (does not include the Grotto area) Harmony Acres is now a direct neighbour to these Parklands with knowledge of the nearby ‘nooks and crannies’ to embellish your vacation experience.

Harmony Acres is a predominately tenting campground and not a typical RV park. We can accommodate tents of a variety of sizes due to the different types of campsite layouts. Some sites are Hammock friendly and our Group sites are suitable for 3 -4 tents per site. There are sites that will fit pop up trailers, truck campers and car tents, vans, pull trailers and small RV’s.

We only have a few sites with 30amp for the larger RV’s however please remember that we offer only electrical and water hookups but do not have the septic pumpouts at this time. We have nice washroom facilities but RV’s must take their septic waste with them. We can give you locations of places enroute that offer septic disposals.

  • Only those who are 19 years of age or older will be allowed to reserve a campsite and Government ID may be requested to make sure there is a person on site that is of legal age matching the booking information.
  • Your site number may change prior to arrival unless a site lock fee was paid during the time of booking.
  • There is a limit of one vehicle per site unless otherwise stated or arranged. Fee will be applied. Do not park on sites that are not register to you. Free additional parking is available near campsites.
  • If there is a concern about the size or number of tents allowed on specific sites, please contact our main office for further information. We are here to ensure that your camping experience is enjoyable and comfortable.
  • A $9.95 reservation fee is applied to each site and an $8.00 administration fee may be applied if multiple site changes are made by the main office.
  • We ask that all guests adhere to the site maximum occupancy limit designated for each site type. If you arrive with more individuals than the site can comfortably accommodate, management will require that other site(s) be purchased, if sites are available.
  • Rates will vary between the seasons and there are specialty packages such as Mid week stays, and Hero appreciation. Premium rate for single night request and Passing thru rate considerations available via telephone only.
  • During Peak Season all reservations are a 2-night minimum; Holiday weekends are a 3-night minimum.

Payment Terms

At Harmony Acres, all reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your stay. For group site stays of 5 or more nights, we require a 50% deposit to hold your spot, with the remaining balance due prior to check-in.
If you have any special requests or circumstances in regards to ability to make payments, please feel free to reach out to our main office via email or phone. Our team is always happy to help and will do their best to accommodate your needs. Please note that any exceptions or adjustments to our payment terms are subject to approval by management.

 


Cancellation Policy

At Harmony Acres, we understand that plans change and sometimes cancellations are necessary. However, please note that our operating seasons is limited, and therefore, we have a strict cancellation policy in place.
You can make a cancellation through our online portal or by calling the main office. For all cancellations, refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment. If you have any special circumstances, please call us to discuss. Management reserves the right to approve refunds on a case-by-case basis.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for any cancellations made after arrival or for no-shows. If you do not show up without giving us prior notice, we will release your reserved site. Additionally, there are no refunds for early departures.

Disclaimer: Please be advised that even in cases of emergency, we are unable to offer special refunds outside of our policy, including but not limited to weather, health, mechanical, fire bans, travel changes, or COVID-related cancellations.

Tent/RV/Trailer Sites:

  • For cancellations made 0 to 14 days before your arrival date, there will be no refund.
  • For cancellations made 15 to 30 days before your arrival date, you will be charged for a single night, and the remaining balance will be credited to your account for future use.
  • For cancellations made 31 to 90 days before your arrival date, you will be charged for a single night, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

 

Group Sites and Cabins:

  • As our group sites and cabins are limited and more popular, the cancellation policy for these types of stays is stricter.
  • For group site stays of 5 nights or more, a 50% deposit is required and this deposit is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 60 days’ notice prior to arrival.
  • For cancellations made 0 to 30 days before your arrival date, there will be no refund.
  • For cancellations made 31 to 90 days before your arrival date, you will be charged for a single night, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • For all site types, cancellations made 91 or more days before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund for your site, less the reservation fee of $9.95.
